Defence

Recently Lola has joined the prestigious Watchkeeper programme. The UK Ministry of Defence awarded the contract, worth £700m, to a consortium led by Thales UK. Lola Composites is bringing its full range of design and manufacturing skills to the project as an official supplier, handling some of the tooling and the initial build of the UAV.

Lola Composites also produce composite parts for many other military applications including the entire structure for Meggitt Defence’s Voodoo and Banshee UAV’s.

Aerospace

Tooling and production of parts and tooling for aerospace has long been a Lola speciality. Typical parts include cowlings, wing components, fuel cells, floatation systems and door components as well as various in-cabin structures. Tooling projects have included large stable tools for the Bombardier Challenger, Mantis UAS, Learjet, Gulfstream 5 and Global Express.
